Halloween

Kira had a good Halloween.  She started out in her First Halloween outfit that her Aunt Aeecha gave her, and then she changed into her ladybug costume.  She looked adorable with her chubby cheeks and her little Monkeybug (a stuffed monkey in a ladybug costume from her Aunt Tina)!  Our good friends, the Stovers, invited us to go trick-or-treating with them, and Auntie Svet was there too!  It was an exciting night, and by the end of it, Kira was exhausted.

New pictures of Kira

We've been home 2 weeks now.  Kira has settled into a schedule and is a happy, healthy baby!  We visited the staff at school on Wednesday, October 5th, and Kira did very well.  She let several people hold her, and she observed everything going on.  She even smiled at everyone and performed a couple of tricks.  She was soooo cute!  Too bad it was the one day it poured outside!

On Friday, October 7th, she crawled for the first time, and the next day, she got her first 2 teeth.  I think she knew I would want to be there for these milestones, so she was just waiting for me.  Unfortunately the teething is making her a little cranky.  Poor thing!  Now that she's crawling, I had to get the safety gates installed on the stairs (Thanks Uncle Ron!)
